The Goodness Test Card
How to approach anyone to present the card.
Pardon me, sir, or pardon me, ma'am. Could I give you a little card to read?
The person nods or says, yes. Then you say:
The idea is that, with the Ten Commandments, you take a goodness test before God to see how good of a person you are.
Now, this verse (Gal 3:24) teaches us why God gave the Law, or the Ten Commandments. Show them the verse on the card. And say: God knew the Law would show us that we all have sinned and need a Savior.
Then show the bolded line that says:
There are a lot of good people in the world, but no one is sinless.
Show them the line that says salvation is only in Jesus.
Turn the card over and say (as you point to heaven and hell), the main point on this side of the card is that
Eternity is a long time to be in the wrong place.
That's all you need to say. The LORD will do the rest.
If you see there’s a greater interest, give them a business card or some way to contact you.

KNOWING WHO JESUS IS
You being ready to give an answer is where we begin. You will learn the questions, their answers, and the Scriptures that support them. Then you will say them from your memory.
II. Question: Who is the Jesus of the Bible?
Answer: He is the Eternal Son of God.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word [Jesus], and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same [Jesus] was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him [Jesus], and without Him was not anything made that was made.
III. Question: Why do we believe Jesus is God?
Answer: Because the Bible calls Him God.
Isa 9:6 His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The ever-lasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
John 20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto Him, My Lord and my God.
